"Ron Wagner's version of Storm Shadow was based on me. My own fantasy projection is Snake-Eyes. Those are my two favorite characters. The two sides of me. I never really gave much thought to the CHARACTERS of Duke or Hawk. They were authority figures, and I was concerned with the GRUNT'S POV." - Larry Hama
Marlon Wayans brings Racism to GI Joe

During a recent interview with BET.com (Black Entertainment Television), actor Marlon Wayans was asked about his role in the upcoming GI Joe: Rise of Cobra movie. Instead of being the normal line of drivel that actors give these days, Marlon decided to bring racism into the movie. The "white/black" card was basically the entire premise for his statement, and we believe that Marlon is finding new ways besides his crappy acting to help bring down the new live-action film.

BET.com: You are in “G.I. Joe,” which a lot of people are looking forward to. What can you tell us about the film?

Marlon: The brother don’t die in the first minute! He actually helps save the day, he doesn’t get slapped around by the White bad guy and he gets the girl at the end of the day—now, she a White girl! But, he gets the girl. Honestly, at this point it’s not about White, Black—it’s about love is colorless to me. In today’s world, I think America is mature enough for that. We got a Black President; it’s kind of like the maturity of the world. What’s great about this romance is it’s just cute. It’s not sexual, it’s a cute romance. I feel very good really about the movie. I saw it, there was a point I was looking at it and I was going, “I’m in that!” It’s crazy—it has humor, explosions, romance, adrenaline and it got ninjas! That’s all the ingredients for a huge summer blockbuster.

Now Marlon here, is not sounding like a black guy who is just a normal guy with an african heritage. He sounds like someone who wants to push the issue and make something out of it. Now it might very well be because he's talking to BET, the most racist-themed television channel in the history of entertainment.. but the facts remain. He's pushing the interracial "hook-up" as an issue, not something that can just be taken for normal. This has nothing to do with GI Joe and was NEVER pushed onto the Joeverse world before. (Destro and his unseen affair in Devils Due doesn't count) This is nothing new for hollywood of course... but it's way out of whack for what started as a childrens toy.

I never had anything against Marlon before as an actor or a person (besides the fact that a whopping 90% of the movies he's in suck major donkey balls), but now in my mind he's a racist.
